1

Choose a session block

Select a numbered session button to jump to that part of the program. Each block has its own date and full time range.

2

Search the complete program

Search by presenter, author, title, room, mini-symposium, submission number, date or time. Results update as you type.

3

Follow the time row

The fixed column on the left gives the presentation slot. Read across that row to compare talks taking place at the same time.

4

Follow the room column

Room headings run across the top. Select a room name to open the venue map with that location highlighted.

5

Recognise the mini-symposium

The coloured MS badge gives the mini-symposium number. The same badge and colour repeat down that track; selecting it opens the mini-symposium overview.

6

See who chairs the session

The chair's name appears directly below the icons in each presentation cell. Papers in the same mini-symposium track usually repeat the same chair.

7

Open the presentation details

Select the information icon to open the presentation's abstract, complete author list, presenter, chair, schedule and room.

8

Save the presentation

Select the calendar icon to download that talk's .ics file, then open it and confirm the import in your calendar app.

Abstract

Read the presentation's full abstract here to decide whether it belongs in your program…

1

Identify the presentation

The paper number and session badge confirm what you opened. When shown, the coloured mini-symposium badge links to that symposium's overview.

2

Check when and where

The schedule card shows the full date and presentation time. Select the underlined room to open the venue map with that room highlighted.

3

Save this presentation

Add to calendar downloads the same single-event .ics file available in the grid. Open the file and confirm the import in your calendar app.

4

Read the abstract and people

The main column contains the full abstract. The People panel separates the presenter, complete author list and session chair.

5

Open the proceedings when available

A Proceedings button appears beside the calendar action only when a paper link has been provided. It opens the paper in a new browser tab.

6

Return to the complete programme

Use Back to parallel sessions above the paper card to return to the session grid and continue planning.

Calendar

Save a talk to your calendar

Each icon saves one presentation as a standard .ics calendar file.

1

Select the calendar icon

Use the calendar button inside the talk you want. Your browser downloads an .ics file.

2

Open or import the file

Open it from the browser's download list or your Downloads folder, then choose your calendar app.

3

Confirm and save

Check the title, date, time and room, choose a calendar, then select Add, Import or Save.

Apple Calendar

Open the downloaded file, choose the destination calendar, then select OK.

Outlook

Open the downloaded file. In classic Outlook, select Save & Close. If Outlook asks, choose to import the event rather than only view it.

Google Calendar

If the file does not open directly, use Google Calendar on a computer: Settings → Import & export → select the downloaded file and destination calendar → Import.

Phone or tablet

Open the download and choose your calendar when prompted. If no calendar option appears, share the file to your calendar app or import it from a computer.

A downloaded event is a snapshot

It does not update automatically if the programme changes. Recheck the session grid before the talk. Times in the file use the Europe/Berlin time zone and most calendar apps convert them to your device's local time.

05

Troubleshooting

If something does not look right

No search results appear

Remove one search word, check the spelling, or search by a surname, submission number, MS 04, or room A310. Search ignores upper- and lower-case differences.

The paper title is not clickable

A proceedings link is not available for that paper. Use the information icon to open its presentation page and read the available details.

The calendar icon only downloaded a file

That is expected. Open the .ics file from your browser downloads or Downloads folder, choose a calendar, and confirm the import.

The red current-time band is missing

It appears only during a listed conference slot and follows your device date and time. Conference times are shown in Hannover local time.

I cannot see every room

The grid is wider than many screens. Swipe left and right on touchscreens, or use the horizontal scrollbar or trackpad on a computer.
